Investing money in communities, especially high risk communities have high benefits in the short term and WE believe the long term too.
The West Jordan Feeder System:
About 4 years ago, The Jordan School Board of Education recognized an at risk community. Educational results in our West Jordan Feeder System were lagging behind the rest of the Jordan School District. WE recognized the challenges of the social economical households in this community.
After studying this issue, The Jordan School Board of Education made a sizable commitment of 5 million dollars to be spent over a 4 year period of time.
The results are amazing. The Jordan School District LEADS the way in UTAH in Investing in Children.
The West Jordan Feeder system has received recognition at the Utah School Board Conference. Districts around the state are asking, “How did you produce such amazing results?” WE invested in children and our community in West Jordan.
By the way, The Jordan School Board recently announced we are building an ARTS Magnet School at Majestic Elementary in the West Jordan Feeder System. WE are confident that educational results will continue to trend in a positive way in West Jordan.

That is right. At the center of West Jordan Feeder System student centered innovative was Instructional Coaching and Technology. West Jordan Middle School was the FIRST school in the Jordan School District to go with 1:1 device checking computers out to students. Who said you can’t help students with screens?
